Guyana’s Table Tennis Association (GTTA) will be hosting an Open Table Tennis tournament on Sunday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall from 10am with the competition featuring all senior, junior and cadet players.
“The GTTA is optimistic about the tournament and will try to run tournaments of this nature each month going into the National Championships in August,” the association said in a release, adding that the tournament is geared at increasing competitiveness.
The press release also indicated that the association met recently and discussed Guyana’s possible participation in the Caribbean Junior and Cadet Championships scheduled for April 21-27 in the Dominican Republic.
