Dear Editor,
Several months ago, the Clean Up my Country team held a consultation with residents of Lodge regarding the cleaning up of our community. The Permanent Secretary, Mr. Colin Croal, promised there would be a follow-up consultation at which time, details will be given on who or which group/groups will be responsible for the exercise, details of the works to be done etc., so that residents can monitor the works and ensure the funds are properly utilized.
Today, residents are in a state of bewilderment after waiting patiently for the follow up consultation and watching other communities being allocated resources.
Could the Clean up my Country team say why Lodge was forsaken or when exactly we can expect to be consulted on the cleaning up of our community?
Julianne Gaul
Resident
