Royals and Jets will represent Linden next Friday night at California Square, East Ruimveldt as the
two teams topped the Linden Zone with Royals remaining unbeaten Thursday night when the Mackeson ‘King of the Rim’ 3×3 Basketball Competition continued.
Sharp-shooter, Chris Williams was a one-man wrecking machine from beyond the arc with the shooting guard leading his Royals team to the final eight of the tournament. Williams, along with Marlon Pollydore, Harold Adams and Orlan Glasgow will travel to Georgetown next week to take on seven other teams.
The Webster brothers, who represented Jets will also make the journey after finishing second in the Linden group. The other teams that are in the Super Eight Final are TRS Raptors from Melanie on the East Coast, representing that zone, Den Amstel ‘A’ from West Coast Demerara, Colts ‘A’, Colts ‘B’, Pacesetters ‘A’ and defending champs, Pitbulls, all from the Georgetown zone.
