Several Schools from the Mahaicony area will be involved in the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport/National
Sports Commission cricket coaching programme which commences tomorrow.
According to Coach Daniel Richmond the schools are De Hoop, Carlton Hall, Zealand, Novar, Mahaicony, Mortise and Calcutta Primaries along with Novar & Mahaicony Secondary’s.
The clinic is for both Girls and Boys and is part of the ministry’s efforts to continue to enlighten the pupils of the basics of the game, self confidence and discipline.
The venue is Fairfield Community Centre Ground and the session starts at 9:00am. After the programme a competition will be organized among the schools.
