Dear Editor,
I am moved to write this letter concerning the death of an innocent child at the hands of an alleged drunken driver and his colleagues. Only when you have lost a loved one, can you feel the pain and agony that hurts so badly. I am the aunt of the child, and wish to air my concern about what is taking place in our society.
This man that killed my nephew, has police connections. Imagine he was sporting with police officers drinking guiness and racing down the road, when he killed that innocent little child. And to my surprise, because of his connections with the police, he is sitting on a bench outside and not put in the lock ups. What is really going on in this beautiful country of ours. Isn’t there justice for the poor and less fortunate.
Please, can the Commissioner of Police, The Traffic Chief, The Crime Chief, The Commander (Mr. Amsterdam) and all the other sober-headed persons, look into this case and let justice prevail. A strong message needs to be sent to these irate and ignorant drivers/murderers, who don’t care less about who will be next, all because of their connections.
Persons put on a little light tint to protect them from the sun, and the said police officers would harass you and charge you, and this guy’s vehicle is black all over, and nobody tells him anything. When would the lawlessness in our lands stop. I do hope he is faced with the fullest force of the law and all those officers who were with him also drinking
