Educational Institute decked out in their pink outfits in acknowledgment of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The school annually collects funds from students and donates it to breast cancer patients. The initiative started in 2011 and this year Olive Abrams and Debra McPherson were the beneficiaries.
The students also participated in a whole school assembly where they learned about cancers and the importance of supporting those affected by it as well as the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.
Principal of the institute, Will Campbell, said that the institute had the full cooperation of the parents and guardians of the students. He added “even those who had a problem with their sons wearing pink eventually came around.”
