Guyanese Javed Persaud was successful at the 2014 West Indies Cricket Umpires Association ((WICUA) final written exam which was held recently. Persaud gained 88 marks and was the only Guyanese to take the exam. Bernadette Reid of Jamaica was the most successful candidate with 98% followed by Rajesh Babu-Jalli of the USA with 96%.
