Former national sprinter turn bodybuilder Rawle Green who now resides in the USA
ended 5th in the Heavyweight division at the World Natural Bodybuilding Federation (WNBF) US Pro Cup which was held on Saturday last in New Haven Connecticut.
Speaking with Kaieteur Sport, Green, who was a part of Guyana’s team to the just concluded CAC Championships held in Saint Martin, said that it is always his intention to do about two shows leading up to the WNBF/INBF World Championships which he would be competing at on November 15, next.
He was not able to do so as a result of meager finances, thus only the WNBF US Cup. At the same competition last year, Green took the bronze medal and in 2012 he was 4th.
Looking ahead to November 15, Green said that he would be much more focused on holding his muscles while doing more posing classes in order to be among the top three.
