Dear Editor,
Further to my letter to you and your published response which appeared in today’s edition of the Kaieteur News, while the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes not to become embroiled in any exchanges with your newspaper, I am constrained to write only for the purpose to clarify for the reading public, that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not been provided with any “facts” as mentioned by you. Your insinuation that the Ministry is tolerating wrong doing is therefore disturbing.
Elisabeth Harper
Director General
Ministry of Foreign Affairs
