Dear Editor,
I reported a fault on my phone on Tuesday 23/9/14 Reference # 1519317. I was told that the repairs will be done in three to five working days. The person told me that is a P.U.C directive. I know it used to be three working days. I wasted a;; day Wednesday and Thursday and no technician turn up.
I called on Friday 26/9/14 at 9:10 am and I spoke to one Anna at 12:30 pm. I talked to a lady by the name of Beckles and she promised me that a technician will visit me by the end of the day. I pleaded with her seeing it’s a weekend but to no avail.
I waited from Monday 29/09/14 to Friday 03/10/14 and still no technician visited to repair my phone. I am wondering what the P.U.C will do with this company. This is the same company that is asking for an increase in landline rates. If this is the way this company is treating its customers then I say “No” to the increase of rates for this company.
When I asked for the phone bill the company always said it’s in the post. I received my August bill on 02/10/14. Every bill is late. This is the only company in the world that is charging customers on TOLL FREE number.
The calls were made in July and August 2013. This was happening for over ten years because I was only receiving bills with no international number just the amount of money to be paid for overseas call. Now the bill has overseas calls printed.
I hope this letter will enlighten all affected customers who were fleece by GT&T and the P.U.C.
