Robberies are prevalent and the locations being targeted are outside the city where security is somewhat lax. Gunmen will strike at a small restaurant and would torment the owners for cash and jewellery.
A police roadblock will not catch the perpetrators because they are smart enough to hide in one of the villages until the hullaballoo dies down.

The reports of domestic violence are reaching unprecedented proportions. A man is going to assault his wife although the evidence is there that the women are not taking any beating lightly. The courts are going to intervene, but this is only going to make matters worse.
The news would feature another domestic murder.

A senior government official is going to be implicated in a road accident. His vehicle is going to crash into some people in the city.
Irate people will prevent the driver from fleeing the scene. Indeed police action would lead to a downplaying of the accident.
