Bravados defeated Ogle by six wickets when action in the East Coast Cricket Committee/Nauth Motor Spares 50-over competition continued Saturday.
Host Ogle managed 153 all out in 33.4overs after they were inserted by Bravados. Khemraj Dindyal struck one four and a six in a top score of 43, while Irfan Ali scored 30 (3×4,1×6), Andre Gomes 20 (2×4) and Darshan Pooran 19 (3×4). Alex Culley snared 3-24 while Curnel Sobers, Wazeer Mohamed and Earl Gilkes took one each.
Nigel Estrado and Anthony Ifill set Bravados on course with an opening stand of 76. Estrado attacked from the onset hitting five fours and three sixes before he was dismissed for 57. Bravados then lost two quick wickets, but Ifill and Mohamed saw their team to safety with an unbroken fifth wicket stand of 55. Ifill slammed 52 not out (5×4) while Mohamed ended on 16. Gomes and Davendra Ramtahal claimed one wicket each.
