The Berbice Bridge Company (BBC) sponsored first division 50-over cricket competition organised by the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) is fixed to get cracking on Sunday with five of six first round matches.
In this the second year of the tournament, 13 first division teams including D’Edward for the first time will be participating. The ODI playing conditions i.e white ball, coloured clothes, black sight screens etc would be used.
Sunday’s fixtures:
1. Young Warriors vs Universal Solutions Bermine at Cumberland
2. Blairmont Community Centre vs Port Mourant at Blairmont
3. Edinburgh vs Police at Edinburgh
4. Skeldon Community Centre vs Rose Hall Town Gizmos & Gadgets at Skeldon
5. D’Edward vs West Berbice at D’Edward
The sixth match between Guytrac Upper Corentyne and Bush Lot Rising Star has been rescheduled for next week Saturday at the No. 69 Ground.
All of the matches are scheduled to start at 09:30hrs.
