When the Stag Beer sponsored East Bank Football Association division-one league continues tomorrow at the Grove Playfield, the feature game between the second and third placed teams on the points table, Soesdyke Falcons and Agricola Red Triangle will have an added incentive at stake.
The winner of this rubber would not only strengthen their position for a top place on the EBFA league but will earn the right to represent the association in the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) National League Playoffs.
Grove Hi Tech remains in the top draft of the local game having finished sixth overall in the last competition which gives another team the opportunity of joining them in the GFF competition.
There is all to play for between these two sides that will leave no stones unturned to topple each other.
Agricola will look to the second highest leading goal scorer Gordon Grant to lead their quest for another win over the Soesdyke boys having won their first round clash 5-0 when Grant netted a hat-trick.
He would be supported by Lumumba Hinds, Winston Rawlins, Kacy John, Travis Welch, Linden Pickett and Sheldon Gurrick.
Soesdyke will however not be intimidated by the first round loss and have been training hard to reverse that result. Taking on the responsibility of charting the way for a win will be Roger Dey, Dwayne Dillon, Orin Tasher, Kelsie Benson, Colin Holder, Colin McLean, Ulatto Smith and Javier Greene.
Tomorrow’s opening game at 13:30hrs brings together Timehri Panthers and Mocha Champs.
