The Courts Furniture and Appliance Store held a presentation ceremony yesterday at their Main Street, Georgetown branch, to award customers who won in three recent promotions.
The “I Love My Appliances from Courts” promotion, held from July 8 to July 31, allowed customers who purchased appliances worth $49,999 and over, to enter and win a kitchen make-over valued at $300,000. The lucky winner of this promotion was Shazim Ali.
The “Courts Credit Promotion” gave hire-purchase customers a chance to win one of three flat screen televisions, provided their accounts were updated from July 11 to July 31.
The winners of the credit promotion were Dionne Hamilton, Derick Hinds and Hecroy Barry.
The top two individuals, who recorded the highest scores in the “Courts Penalty Shootout” game on the social media website Facebook, were also awarded prizes from the store.
Shamdai Singh, who came in first, won a 32 inch flat screen television and Julius Simon, the runner-up, won himself a Samsung Galaxy smart phone.
Presenting the awards were Director of Credit, Kenneth Scrub, Marketing Manager, Pernell Cummings and Public Relations and Promotions Officer, Roberta Ferguson.
Ms Ferguson said that Courts will continue promotions with a cricket trivia game on Facebook (with regards to CPL T20), where customers can win “fabulous” prizes.
She also made mention of a “Back To School” promotion, in which the store will be giving away three Samsung laptops and 4 tablets.
