Guyana senior female team departed yesterday for Dominica where they will compete in the 2014 Regional Super50 Tournament from August 5-14. The teams vying for the title are Grenada, Barbados, Dominica, Guyana, Jamaica, St. Vincent, St. Lucia, and Trinidad & Tobago.
Seeing the players off, President of the Guyana Cricket Board, Drubahadur, urged them to give their best and make Guyana proud. He further called on the senior Guyana players with West Indies experience (Tremayne Campbelle, Tremayne Smartt, Subrina Munroe and June Ogle) to lead by example and help guide the younger ones.
