With two weeks to go before the inaugural flight for Dynamic Airways in Guyana, one of
the aircraft along with pilots and flight attendants arrived yesterday. The Boeing 767/200 landed shortly after 13:00hrs at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport.
According to the Captain, David Withers, their commitment is with the Guyanese people. Withers said that although this is not his first trip to Guyana, he is extremely happy to be here to serve the country. He said that travellers can expect nothing but the best when using the airline.
Withers said that Dynamic Airways is a year-round, safe, affordable, and extraordinary service that rivals and supersedes any major airline. He added that the New York-Georgetown market has historically been served by other carriers in high season only.
Tom Johnson, Senior Vice President, Business Development of Dynamic, said “our focus is expanding service to many destinations out of Georgetown, hiring a local Guyanese workforce, and to contribute to the growth of the Guyanese economy. Dynamic has entered an agreement with Roraima Airways, with Captain Gerald Gouveia as its General Sales Agent as well as multiple Travel Agents in NY area whose info we will post as well”.
On June 26, Dynamic Airways will have its inaugural flight from Georgetown to New York. The aircraft will remain in Guyana until that date.
