Competition in the CULT Energy Drink sponsored East Bank Football Association Under-17 league is set to continue today at the Grove Community Centre Ground with two matches.
Grove Hi Tech will be going after their third win in as many matches when they face off with Kuru Kururu Warriors who have also won their only game to date. Both sides boast’s some promising players in their line-up.
Grove will be enjoying home support but will be cognizant of the prowess of the Warriors who turned back the challenge of Diamond United in their first game a few weeks ago. An enthralling match-up is anticipated.
The Warriors will look to the duo of Joshua Grant and Brian Daniels who took them to their win coming from a goal down. Leading the home team’s challenge will be Captain Trevor Jones, Joel Dick, Threvon Pluck and Nickoloy Matthews.
Opening play will see the ever improving Herstelling taking on the Soesdyke Falcons in what is expected to be an interesting contest. Herstelling with a win and a draw under their belts will no doubt hope to maintain that record against the Falcons who lost their first game to Grove and will be looking to redeem themselves.
Leon Alfred and Rickey Debydial will be at the helm for Herstelling while Falcons will bank on Shane Meusa, Colin Sobers, Kevin Marshall, brothers Tyrell and Tyrone Khan and their cousin, Raymond Khan.
Kick off time is 14:00hrs.
