A family at Affiance Village, Essequibo Coast, is awaiting a post mortem report to fully ascertain the sudden death of a 39-year-old family member whose lifeless body was discovered in a trench, at Affiance backdam, Friday evening.
Dead is Boodram Dindyal, a rice farmer. Reports are that Dindyal left his Affiance home early Friday morning and ventured into the backdam for his rice land.
While no one knows what transpired, Dindyal’s family has said that he was not ailing. Residents of the area are suggesting Dindyal may have collapsed due to the intense heat of the sun.
The dead man was discovered by a man in a trench at the backdam.
Further reports were subsequently filtered to his immediate family and the police who transported his body to the Suddie Funeral Parlour.
Dindyal has left to mourn his wife, Reshma Dindyal, and his two young children. His wife said she last saw her husband Thursday morning before he went to work.
