Play in the Berbice Cricket Board/Tenelec Inc. Under-15 cricket competition continued recently with Berbice all-rounder Kevin Sinclair turning in a fine performance for Police against Tucber Park.
Sinclair, first batted through the Police first innings and remained unbeaten on 110 which was decorated with 7 fours, his innings forming the foundation of the innings which ended at 148, leg spinner Brandon Stewart picked up 4-39 for Tucber Park.
When Tucber Park replied, Sinclair came back with his off-spinners, bowling through to the close of play claiming 5-27. Steve Deonarine batted resolutely to end on 39* as Tucber Park ended the day on 98-6 holding out for a no result.
Sinclair had scored 100 and taken 7-4 in Police’s previous match against Rose Hall Community Centre.
Blairmont Community Centre middle order Batsman Adin Sheotayal hit an even unbeaten half century and bowling his off-spinners, took 2-17 and 3-14 to help his team register an innings and 58 run win over D’Edward.

D’Edward first innings 83-3; Deninauth Persaud 22*, Amit Budhu 20, Adrian Ramanian 2-27.
