The presentation ceremony for the Trophy Stall sponsored East Bank Football Association Under-15 League will take place tomorrow at the Grove Community Centre commencing at 15:00hrs.
Grove Hi Tech played unbeaten throughout the two-round competition to end with the maximum 18 points and will receive the winner’s trophy and 18 gold medals. Soesdyke Falcons will be presented with the second place trophy and 18 silver medals, while the third place Diamond will collect the third place trophy and 18 bronze medals.
The joint leading goal scorers, Theron Pluck (Grove Hi Tech) and Shane Meusa (Soesdyke Falcons) will each receive the Golden Boot trophies.
Awards will also go to the Most Valuable Player, Best Goalkeeper and Best Coach of the tournament.
The three females, one from Diamond United and two from Herstelling FC that played in the competition will be rewarded with a pair of football boots each compliments of President of Misteden, a USA based Guyanese company, Stephen Budhu.
The boots that are designed and manufactured by Budhu were donated to the Lady Jaguars when they had qualified for the CONCACAF Finals that were played in Mexico in 2010.
