Weeks of dry weather have made the Lusignan Golf Club course treacherous for this week’s Continental Agencies Tournament.
While the hard and dry fairways enable more distance off the tee, the greens remain largely unwelcoming to approach shots. The conditions will make for another trying week at the club and it will require patience and a deft hand around the green for any winners of the event. However, this will not deter competitors given the season is picking up steam and a large field is expected to turn out for the sponsor which has been a longtime supporter of the club.
Among them one would expect to be in contention are Andre Cummings, who hits a long ball but has some comfort with his handicap; so too is George Bulkan who since returning to golf has been playing with a calm intensity. Tee off time is set for 12:00pm.
