East Bank Football Association club side; Grove Hi Tech has been boosted with the donation of a set of equipment by the owner of Bharatt Taxi Service, Mr. Bharatt Narine, a resident of Grove who resides in Canada.
Grove Hi Tech is the lone club from the East Bank that is playing in the Guyana Football Federation Super League and also has a team competing in the Stag Beer Division One league on the East Bank.
So impressed was Mr. Narine with the continued development of Grove Hi Tech that he was motivated to present a set of bibs, goalkeeper uniforms, coaching tactic boards and whistles.
The items were handed over to Club Coach Jermaine Alves by Mr. Narine in the presence of Club members.
Alves offered thanks to Narine on behalf of the club noting that the equipment has come at an opportune time for the club which has three teams competing at various levels at the moment and will have another team competing in the EBFA Under-17 tournament which will commence shortly.
Narine said that he was more than happy to contribute to Grove Hi Tech and has been following their progress over the past year’s which is very encouraging. He said that he is impressed with the youth department of the club and is urging all clubs on the East Bank to focus on youth development.
