A biker lost his right arm at around 23.00 hrs yesterday when his CBR motorcycle crashed into a car on Norton Street Georgetown.
According to reports, the biker, who was identified as Kevin Griffith, was riding west along Norton Street between Victor and Chapel Streets, when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a stationary car on the northern carriageway.
The impact caused his arm to be ripped from his body. He and his motorcycle continued for several more feet before slamming into another vehicle.
He was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation for emergency treatment and while writhing in pain was heard asking for his arm.
Minutes later, a police rank brought his severed arm to the Hospital in a bag but a porter was later observed taking it away.
