Competition in the East Demerara Football Association (EDFA) Under-17 League will continue today with four matches at three venues on the East Coast.
The lone game at the BV ground will see the host team entertaining Paradise from 09:00hrs. The Victoria Ground will host a double header, Ann’s Grove and Haslington will clash from 09:00hrs with the feature game between home team Victoria Kings and Mahaica at 11:00hrs.
And the lone fixture at the Buxton Ground brings together Plaisance and Buxton United from 09:00hrs.
The competition got off to a bright start on March 1 with a number of matches. Buxton United hammered Buxton Stars 4-0; Golden Stars won by walk over from Haslington FC; BV Triumph United 5 banged their way past Plaisance 5-1 and Victoria Kings edged Ann’s Grove 3-2 in a pulsating clash.
On March 2, BV Triumph United swamped Buxton Stars 5-0 while Plaisance were 3-1 winners over Paradise.
