The Guyana Cricket Umpires Council (GCUC) has congratulated Nigel Duguid for his on field international debut. He officiated in the second T20 game in the West Indies and Ireland series. President of the GCUC Dhieranidranauth Somwaru said that Duguid elevation will serve as a motivation for the other umpires and hopefully will encourage younger people to join the profession. He, on behalf of the Guyanese umpiring fraternity wished Duguid well in the future.
