Walton Hall overcame Charity by 4 wickets in the first semi final of the WD’s Hotel and Mall T\20 tournament played last Sunday in North Essequibo.
Charity took first strike at Imam Bacchus ground and managed 84-5 in their reduced 12 overs with Rayan Tang top scoring with 30 (3×6), while Kaisho Rooplall stroked 26 (1×4,1×6). Navin Bahadur claimed 3-5 for Walton Hall who replied with 85-6 in 11.1 overs.
Latchman Singh was their leading batsman with 21 (1×6) and Bahadur made 14 (1×4); Mark Narine was the pick of the bowlers with 4-11 and Devin Thakurdeen took 2-10.
