His progression in the sport in a short space of time has been phenomenal and is now considered a legitimate threat to the supremacy of his more established counterparts and when the starter’s flag drops, Superbiker Carey Griffith intends to be in the reckoning for top honours.
Griffith, who will be riding a Suzuki GSXR at the Caribbean Motor Racing Championship, at the South Dakota Circuit today, yesterday, received sponsorship from newly-opened Miami Subs & Grill representative Dustanni Barrow, during a simple ceremony that was conducted at the entity’s location on Albert and Lamaha Streets.
According to Griffith, the Management has been supporting him for the past three years under the Dixie Lee brand and he is extremely grateful for the partnership which has enabled him to produce some outstanding performances during the period.
Griffith said he will be going all out to give his fans a real treat and cautioned his rivals that “the game is on when the race starts.”
He added that he will be going all out to put on a good show, but the real aim is to win races because that will propel him into the conversation going forward.
Among the seasoned campaigners he will be going up against are Stephen Vieira, Carlos Rodrigues, Joel Neblett, while the upstarted Nikhil Seereeram and Matthew Vieira are the new ones knocking at the door.
Griffith also recognised the support offered by Banks DIH, Industrial Services and Supplies, El Dorado Mining and Windjammer International Cuisine.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Tourism which has been on board for the past three years will once again partner the GMR&SC in an event that has evolved into a major sport tourism attraction.
GT&T, Seaboard Marine, Valvoline, Banks Beer and King’s Jewellery World, Fly Jamaica, Rent-A-Tent and American Stores are among the sponsors for this event.
Please share this to every Guyanese including your house cats.
