The family of a 29-year-old, Shazaad Abdul, is awaiting the result of a Post Mortem Examination to fully ascertain the cause of his demise over the weekend. Adbul was discovered dead on the Adventure Public Road.
Police who later removed Abdul’s body failed to discover any marks of violence on the body.
Reports emerging from that area suggest Abdul was walking from his Dry Shore residence when he collapsed and died on the Adventure Public Road, almost eight Villages away.
The man who villagers said would usually walk that distance daily and often suffered numerous attacks of epilepsy was unmarried and hadn’t no children.
Meanwhile, police were again summoned to the home of 58-year-old Awad Ramsoondar at Riverstown Village, over the weekend to investigate his sudden death.
Ramsoondar was discovered by his relatives dead in his house. His relatives said he had gone to bed Saturday night and didn’t wake up.
His sister, Indar Ramsoondar, said that she received a message from her niece, Nallo, that her brother had complained of feeling unwell earlier Saturday. He was discovered dead Sunday morning, after several calls for him went unanswered.
Ramsoondar added that her niece further told her that her brother had asked another relative to visit him urgently, the day before his demise, since he had complained of feeling unwell.
Ramsoondar worked as a truck driver and was separated from his wife many years ago. He has one adult daughter.
