Friendship and Supply shared the honours when the two teams met at Circle Tennis and Windball Cricket recently.
Playing in the 22nd Annual Christmas Term Schools Windball Cricket matches played at Timehri Red Ground & the National Park respectively, Friendship won at Windball Cricket in both the Boys and Girls categories, while Supply rebounded to grab the Circle Tennis accolade.
At Timehri Red Ground-
Girls- Friendship won by 7 wickets.
Supply after been invited to bat first made 21-4 off the allotted overs. Friendship replied with 22-3. Alicia Moore made 11 not out.
Boys- Friendship won by 6 runs.
Friendship after being asked to take first strike scored 78-3 with Mohamed Alie 46 and Dhanpaul Bissoop 16, being the principal scorers.
Supply in their turn at the crease was restricted to 72-3 when the overs expired. Christopher Montouth hammered 45.
Over at the National Park-
Circle Tennis mixed team match, Supply batted first and scored 110- 4 off their 30 deliveries, with Joseph Basdeo 76, with 11x 6s. Friendship in reply was restricted to 96-5, Kacyann James 40, with 5x6s, Dhanpaul Bissoop 15, Reney Wray 12.
Supply also received a Circle Tennis Racquet made possible by AL Sport & Tour Promotions.
Meanwhile, Queenstown batted first and score 61 all out, Jahfar John 19. Monar Educational Institute 58-2, Nicholas Ganesh 20, Sherroy Smith 15.
