Opener Rajendra Chandrika slammed successive centuries as Enterprise Busta Sports Club recorded consecutive victories in two feature 30 overs matches played last weekend.
On Saturday at Enterprise, the host defeated St. Cuthbert’s Mission by 113 runs. Enterprise batted first and posted 229-4 off their allotted overs. Chandrika stroked 108 and got support from Arif Habib 65 and Rohan Mangal 26 not out. The visitors were bowled out for 96 in 23 overs in reply with Brian Ferreira scoring 42. Afzal Mohamed claimed 3-8 and Zaheer Mohamed 2-17 for the winners.
On Sunday at the same venue, Enterprise overcame La Bonne Intention (LBI) A by 189 runs. The home team took first strike and rattled up 252-2 in 30 overs. Chandrika cracked an unbeaten 117 while Habib supported with 63 and Mohamed 55 not out.
M. Veerasammy took 2-41. LBI were routed for 63 in 23 overs in response. Mohamed returned to capture 3-8 while Kamesh Yadram snared 3-11 and B. Samaroo 2-8.
