Sans Souci defeated Noitgedacht Sports Club by 85 runs when the Mac T20 Cricket competition continued last Sunday on the Island of Wakenaam.
Playing at the Wakenaam Community Centre Ground, Sans Souci batted first and rattled up 181-5 in 20 overs; Wayne Osborne top scored with 42 (1×4 5×6), Gurnauth Khemraj supported with 38 (4×4 2×6), Heera Sukram 31 (1×4) and Seon Venture 23 (2×6).
Neil Ramalho and Deonarine Persaud claimed 2 wickets each. Noitgedacht were bowled out for 86 in 19.1 overs in reply. Ramalho scored 20 (1×4 2×6) and Kemo Paul 15 (2×4). Khemraj returned to take 3-3 from 4 overs and Keval Persaud 3-11 from 4.
The competition continues on Sunday with Maria’s Pleasure playing Good Success in the last preliminary round game at the same venue.
