The Berbice Cricket Board recently launched a fundraising raffle to assist with its development programmes. Over the years, the board has been proactive in preparing county teams to participate in inter county tournament. However, this has come at a significant cost and the BCB wants to make sure that the preparations of the teams are not hampered because of lack of finance.
Prizes to be won include a flat screen television, one washing machine, one microwave oven and one gas cooker. The board is pleading to the public for their support. Tickets are available at the board office, New Amsterdam, executives and member clubs.
