Batting first No. 70 Young Star scored 224 runs with the talented 17 year old opener Permashwar Chatterpaul scoring 85. Bowling for No. 58/59 R. Lootowan took 4 for 31. In reply No. 58/59 were bowled out for 73. Bowling for No. 70 Young Star right arm spinner Wadikar Ramrattan bagged 6 for 20.
In other matches, Crabwood Creek Rising defeated Young Royals by 35 runs. Batting first C.W.C Rising score 122; R. Mohabir 31, W. Lambert 22. Bowling for Young Royals T. Beepat took 3 for 27, N. Hemraj 2 for 39. In reply Young Royals were bowled out for 87. R. Tyndall 17. Bowling for C.W.C Rising Devindra Chandradat claimed 4 for 24, N. Garnett 2 for 16.
Skeldon Community Centre defeated No. 72/73 by 10 wickets. Batting first No.72/73 were bowled for 83 in 27 overs. G. Singh 31. Bowling for Skeldon C.C – V. Gooniah 4 for 13. In reply Skeldon made 84-0 in 15 over with V. Gooniah 49 not out and R. Roopchand 24 not out.
