The Julius family in association with Johnny Barnwell and the Guinness Bar of Mahaicony ECD will host several events in and around that East Coast village today. Activities get underway at 10:00hrs when cyclists straddle their machines for a race around the perimeter of the village. Later on, at 10:00hrs, dominoes players comprising teams from Mahaica up to #5 village West Coast Berbice will battle for honours.
Trophy Stall of Bourda Market will donate the trophies and medals for the respective winners while several individuals and corporate entities will donate additional prizes. Among them are Melbourne Inn and the Nunes family. Activities are organised by Johnny Barnwell, the Nunes family and Aubrey Fraser.
