The New Building Society (NBS) Second Division 40-over competition organised by the Berbice Cricket Board (BCB) for clubs in the Ancient County continued recently.
Sisters did well to tally 158 for 9 in 25 overs against Overwinning Bible Church whose off-spinner Shazam Azeez took 3 for 35, former Berbice Under-19 batsman Shaan Baksh slammed 66 (4×4 5×6) and Azeez 59 (3×4 3×6) the pair put on 120 for the opening stand in just 9 overs to engineer the Church team attaining victory with 159 for 2 in just 16 overs.
Andre De Freitas scored 56 to help Bristol Warriors reach 185 in 33 overs against Canefield and his team-mate, off-spinner Fiaz Latif then took 6 for 17 from 6 overs to see Canefield bowled out for 108 in reply.
No. 1 Road did well to restrict Courtland All Star to 105 in 17 overs but after that Courtland opening pacer Keon Sinclair took 5 for 11 from 5 overs and off-spinner Troy Mathieson 4 for 25 from 5 overs to leave them in shambles at 50 all out in just 11 overs.

At the Rose Hall Welfare Ground in Canje, Bristol Warriors beat Canefield by 77 runs. Bristol Warriors 185 in 33 overs; Andre De Freitas 56, Ameer Rahaman 27, Hardat Singh 26, Khemraj Sumair 2 for 27, Leon Sunthgolam 2 for 33.
Canefield 108 in 28 overs; Leon Sunthgolam 37, Satanand Mohabir 30, Fiaz Latif 6 for 17, Jorim De Freitas 3 for 13.
At Courtland, Courtland All Star beat No. 1 Road by 55 runs. Courtland All Star 105 in 17 overs; Vejai Seecharran 3 for 2, Rayan Monya 3 for 22, Joel Johnson 2 for 5.
No. 1 Road 50 in 11 overs with Keon Sinclair 5 for 11, Troy Mathieson 4 for 25.
At Shieldstown, Shieldstown beat D’Edward Warriors by 5 wickets. D’Edward Warriors 83 in 24.3 overs; Kris Bridgelall 3 for 12. Aftar Gani 3 for 19, Riaz Imam 2 for 16. Shieldstown 84 for 5 in 16 overs; Heeralall Bridgelall 44 N.O, Gansham Lalsa 3 for 26.
At Albion, Albion Community Centre beat Jai Hind by 52 runs. Albion Community Centre 138 in 30 overs; David Latchaya 45, Balchand Baldeo 31, Vicky Veerasammy 3 for 14. Jai Hind 96 in 28 overs; Vicky Veerasammy 27, Joshua Ramsammy 27, Balchand Baldeo 3 for 17, David Latchaya 2 for 16, Sharaz Ramcharran 2 for 18.
At Albion Front, Fyrish Road beat Albion Travellers by 6 wickets. Albion Travellers 126 in 24.3 overs; Avinash Sookraj 28, Zamin Hamid 4 for 26, Isaac Kamaludin 2 for 20, Hassan Hussain 2 for 27. Fyrish Road 130 for 4 in 24.4 overs; Joseph Kamaludin 49.
