R&B Legend Robert Sylvester Kelly known as R Kelly will not be performing live at the
Guyana National Stadium on August 24, 2013.
According to Khalfan PR Inc., the artist fell ill after performing at a concert at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, South Africa.
The 46-year-old, whose hits include If I Could Turn Back the Hands of Time, The World’s Greatest and I Believe I Can Fly, was in South Africa as part of his global Single Ladies Tour. Tickets were all but sold out.
McNeal Enterprise and Hits and Jam will be having a press conference today to give further explanations on the postponement of the much anticipated show.
They are also expected to announce a possible replacement international artiste to fill the void for the Saturday event.
