Jamaica defeated Guyana by 102 runs as play in the Regional Women’s Super 50 tournament continued yesterday in Grenada.
Jamaica batted first and scored 233 all out. De Andrea Dottin stroked 100 while Pamela Lavine made 55. Guyana in replied with 131-9 in 50 overs. Tremaine Smartt made 29 as Stephanie Taylor claimed 3-12.
Dominica beat St. Lucia by 1 wicket. St. Lucia managed 169 all out in 39.1 overs, batting first. Dominica responded with 172-9 in 42.3 overs. Etienne made 52 and Eloi 45.
Barbados trounced Grenada by 236 runs. Barbados batted first and rattled up 303-9 in 50 overs before routing Grenada for 67 in 26.1 overs.
Trinidad and Tobago registered an 8 wicket win over St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG). SVG were bowled out for 123 in 41.4 overs after they took first strike. Trinidad and Tobago replied with 125-2 in 31.2 overs.
