Although the sun was out in all of its glory for most of yesterday the final round matches in the GTM under-19 three-day cricket competition were both washed for the second day on the trot without a ball being bowled.
After no play on the opening day at GCC and DCC, play was also called off yesterday leaving the match a one-day affair at both venues.
Demerara play Berbice at Bourda, while the President’s X1 take on defending one-day Champions Essequibo at the DCC and both matches are scheduled to commence at 09:30 on the final day.
If there is no play today then Demerara will emerge champions in the four-team tournament.
