Antigua –Millions of dollars in cocaine, an unlicensed gun and several rounds of ammunition were taken off the streets in recent days and three men have since been arrested.
The Organisation of Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy (ONDCP) have jointly charged 35-year-old Sherwin Parker of Antigua, Andrew Greaves, 34, a Guyanese living in the US and Dezrel Anglin, 40, of Jamaica with possession of cocaine, intent to transfer, being concerned with the supply of cocaine and drug trafficking.
The trio was scheduled to appear in court yesterday before a magistrate who would consider bail and set a committal date for the three to reappear in court.
According to the ONDCP, its investigators executed a counter-narcotics operation on June 13, which resulted in the seizure of approximately 20 kilograms of cocaine, a .25 caliber pistol along with six rounds of ammunition.
