The world-renowned ‘King of Sufi Music’, Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, is set to perform at the Guyana National Stadium on June 9, 2013.
Organisers are promising an enchanting evening filled with the inspiring and exhilarating music of Qawwali, Ghazals and hit Bollywood songs.
He is the voice behind hit songs such as Tere Mast Mast Do Nain, Sajda, Teri Meri Prem Kahani, Teri Ore and many others.
Fateh Ali Khan is an acclaimed singer and composer who has collaborated with numerous artists from India as well as Western pop musicians. He has more than 50 albums released, has sung 30-plus title tracks of Hindi TV soap operas serials and dozens of super hits Bollywood Filmi songs in last few years.
Khan was introduced to Bollywood in Mahesh Bhatt’s movie ‘Paap’ and has continued to give award winning hits for films such as Dabaang, My Name is Khan, Bodyguard, Dabaang 2, Singh is King, and many others.
Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali is nephew of the legendary Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. He has now captured the hearts of millions worldwide and continues to mesmerize audiences with his melodious voice and Sufi music.
Elite Entertainment in collaboration with international promoter Portfolio Marketing and Events (PME) are the organizers of the event.
The Guyana concert forms part of Khan’s 2013 North American and Caribbean tour which commenced in Dallas on April 19 and concludes in New York on June 15.
Tickets are on sale and are available in four categories: General Admission – $1,500 (Not Seated), General Admission – $5,000 (Seated), VIP – $15,000, VVIP – $20,000 (Stage front Seating + Exclusive Invite to after concert event).
