Bobb-Semple, Charles, Andries are other category winners
Total Fitness Mania 3 lived up to all the pre-competition hype and took the East Bank by storm on Saturday night at the Digital Technology building, Diamond, East Bank Demerara.
By the end of the night, Travis Peters was declared the overall winner in the clash of those athletes who would have earlier won their respective divisions, including Peters who won the Under-164lbs class.
The appreciative and intimate crowd enjoyed a very competitive evening of body building as the respective athletes did their utmost to outdo each other.
Peters’ overall win was his second such achievement having also won the inaugural Total Fitness Mania (2011); Delon Harlequin topped the field at Total Fitness Mania 2.
In a tightly contested senior division, Eybo Orford had to settle for the runner-up spot to eventual winner Peters with Tyrone Eusbieo taking third, all three competitors being senior competitors.
In the other senior category – the clash of the big guys – Adrian Andries outmuscled his rivals to take the top spot. Michael Dos Santos was second and William Ward, third.
In the two novice categories, Kevin Bobb-Semple was the clear winner in the Under-154 lbs category followed by Isaac Guyandeen and Mark Singh in that order.
Claiming the top position in the 155lbs and over division was Edwin Charles ahead of Gregory Dainty and Orin Hernandez.
Gracing the activity with their presence as Guest Posers were reigning Mr. Guyana Devon Davis and multiple Ms. Guyana winner, the multi talented Alisha Fortune.
The respective category winners were recipients of hampers from Fitness Express, one of the major sponsors of the activity. The others were Digital Technology, The Trophy Stall, Geeta Balram, Kasim Hardware Store, Pamela Veersammy, Lall Beharry, Gaitree and Community Pharmacy.
