Caria Caria village holds annual Independence Sports Day

On Sunday last the Caria Caria village held its annual Independence Sports Day at the village ground.
Several villages in the Essequibo River took part in the events, including Buck Hall, Bonasika and Aliki. Deputy Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, Steve Ninvalle was part of the activity which included cricket among other sports.
