Independence Over 40 cricket competition marks Guyana’s milestone event
As Guyana celebrates its 46th Independence Anniversary, a group of businessmen has pooled their resources to run off a cricket competition dubbed ‘Independence Over-40, twenty five overs, Softball Cricket Championships, at the Cyril Potter College Ground, Turkeyen ECD, on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th next.
Registration fee is $3,000 and already several teams have already commenced this process, which is currently ongoing. Interested teams may contact Gas at telephone # 678-7037. The organizers are urging team captains to register early as they are expecting a packed day of activities.
Several business organizations have teamed up to offset the required finances towards the tournament’s success including Ray’s Auto Sales, Y K Pawn Shop, F Kyume, Pitamber Enterprise and Auto Centre.
