Arti Cameron, Miss Guyana World 2012, has landed the cover of Shabeau
(Shades of Beauty) Magazine.
Miss Cameron won the nod from the premier international beauty and lifestyle magazine whose Spring 2012 edition will be published tomorrow.
The reigning Miss Guyana World has received only an advanced copy of the cover of the Barbados-based publication, which has enjoyed international renown in its printed version.
Cameron was interviewed by Shabeau’s editor–in-chief, Joan Ward, when she visited New York for a major fashion show that Cameron was part of.
What remains is the total number of additional photos of the reigning queen that will be featured in this edition of the magazine, which is now targeting a full-fledged global audience.
“My team and I had done a major high fashion photo-shoot for Shabeau, and I can’t wait to see what shots were selected. It was an exciting non-stop shoot that lasted until 2 a.m. one Sunday morning!” Cameron stated.
During this photo shoot, the reigning queen was outfitted with pieces from COLEFACTS’ Spring 2012 collection titled, “My Fair Lady”.
Shabeau Magazine is offering free downloads to the first 1,000 “Likes” of its Facebook page beginning tomorrow.
The Guyana beauty ambassador continues to seek opportunities that highlight Guyana in a positive light on the international scene. She has been participating in high-visibility events including the PLITZS New York City Fashion Week Show, the Bikini Under the Bridge promotional tour–for which she is a campaign model–and the annual Irie Rave 2012 Fashion Show, among other events.
Cameron is billed to make a guest appearance at the Crown Heights and Pace Setters Lions Club Tea Party in Brooklyn, New York, today in a joint effort with COLEFACTS.
Arti Cameron is Guyana’s representative to Miss World 2012 to be held August 18, 2012, in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China.
