The Fairfield ground in Mahaicony, East Coast Demerara should be a hive of activity on Saturday April 7 and Sunday April 8 when the Wilson’s Travel Service host the Clash of the Divas female 10 overs softball cricket competition.
The two-day competition, which sees action in the opening game commencing at 09:00hrs on April 7, is open to female softball cricket teams not only from the East Coast but from anywhere in Guyana and entries close tomorrow.
Entrance fee is $1,000 per team and the champions will take home $100,000 and a trophy, while the losing finalist will take home $25,000 and a trophy. According to the organisers various consolation prizes will be up for grabs.
