The Mayor’s Annual Knockout Inter-Ward Football battle continues today at the Georgetown Football
Club (GFC) with triple headers from 5:30pm.
The proceedings will be opened with Alexander Village and Mocha battling from 5:30pm. The Hope’s brothers, Steffon and Sceyon along with the Ramsey (Amos and Llyton) and Stewart boys (Norville and Orville) and Mark Gilkes will be leading the team as they try to leave the ground victorious.
The second encounter will be contested between Campbellville and West Ruimveldt Estate. Spearheading Campbellville are Orlando Gilgeous, Nigel ‘Powers’ Codrington, Jahal Greaves, Adrian Adonis, Leon Muir and Troy Prescott. West will put up a strong fight with the lineup of Michael Oie, Stellon David, Randolph Wagner along with the Pedro’s brothers, Michael and Hubert.
Kuru Kururu will spar against Kingston in the final game. Forefront players for K&K are Ryan Scott, Dexroy Adams, Perry Millington, Cordell Johnson, Steve Gibson and Christopher Allen. The Kingston boys will try to alienate K&K when the fierce battle begins. Leon Grumble, Quincy Madramootoo, Wendell St Hill, Travis Martin, Andrew Murray, Chris Camacho and Kelvin McKenzie will lead Kingston.
