Kim IL Sung Cricket Club of Corriverton registered an easy 166-run victory over Springlands to end their preliminaries unbeaten as well as champions of their zone to book their place in the last 16 playoffs of the 2011 New Building Society second division 40 over cricket competition in Berbice.
Shaping the win were Anthony Seeraj who hit 84 (12×4 3×6), Rabindra Singh stroked 63 (8×4 3×6) and Jeremy Moore with 43 as Kim IL Sung posted a massive 271 for 7 in just 25 overs. In response, Springlands batsmen were confronted by the left-arm spinner, Tulsiram Munessar who snared 5 for 15 from 5 overs to help bowl out Springlands for 105.

Kim Il Sung 271 for 7 in 25 overs; Anthony Seeraj 84, Rabindra Singh 63, Jeremy Moore 43, Navindra Tamasar 2 for 50 and Kash Lutchmen 2 for 59. Springlands 105 in 20.1 overs; Tulsiram Munessar 5 for 15, Fazal Bacchus 2 for 10 and Clavern Beresford 2 for 22.
