Every major holiday sees a spike in crime. What is making this worse is the fact that young, unintelligent men are now in the ranks of those who believe that a life of crime is the way to go. These are the young gunmen and the young bandits.
One of them is going to lead a gang to a home in his community occupied by people of meager means. The result is going to be hair-raising. There will be gunshots, but there will also be an angry mob.
The police are going to respond and may be able to avert a vigilante-style justice.

A trip between Guyana and Venezuela by people who live in the border community is going to go awry because of high water in the river and an overladen vessel.
Children would be involved in the disaster, but the presence of other boaters in the area will rush to the rescue but given the distance, some of them will arrive too late to save all the lives.
**
Another fire is going to strike where people least expect. As usual people would say that it would be electrical in origin while some would blame a cooking accident.
The distance that the firefighters would have to travel would be a disadvantage. The absence of clean drains and waterways would be another.
