Those at fault for road leading to landfill site should be surcharged
Dear Sir,
The Haggs Bosh road has failed. This road to the new garbage disposal facility has been in use for exactly one year and is already slipping into the trenches…… in places on both sides of the road. Go have a look.
Causes for this failure could be due to a substandard design, (A&R Engineering), bad construction,(H. Nauth and Sons), poor construction supervision,(CEMCO and Walter Willis), or a combination of some or all of the above.
The cost to repair/rectify this road will be far greater than what was spent to repair/rectify the Supernam ferry ramp which as you remember was the subject of an investigation……. the results of which is yet to be made public.
I can only guess that the culprits are well connected in corrupt circles who have the authority to bury information that discredits them even further!
It would be useful if there is an independent investigation to determine why the road failed and if possible the entity or entities at fault should be surcharged.
